Jim Wilson has sustained the Heartbeat of Chevrolet in the Orillia and surrounding areas since opening the doors of his Dealership on Memorial Avenue in 1992. Early in 2006, Jim acquired the Orillia Pontiac Dealership and in April 2007, both Dealerships merged into the new 26 000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility at 20 Mulcahy Court - West Ridge Place.
Graduating from the University of Guelph in politics and business, Jim's opportunity to return to his roots in the ideal location of Orillia was an opportunity that could not be passed up. Having a passion for the Automotive Retail Industry, from a child in New Liskeard selling his first Buick at 15, to running four dealerships in Ontario, Jim's dedication to ensuring the public receives 100% customer satisfaction is one of his many expectations. With the support of his wife Karen and their 3 children, their hands on approach has made Jim Wilson Chevrolet Pontiac Buick GMC one of the most successful GM dealerships in Central Ontario.
Jim Wilson is also well known for his philosophy of giving back to the community. He has sponsored many local sports teams and donated to various causes in the community through the years. Soldiers Memorial Hospital received a generous $150 000.00 towards their improvement project which the staff at Jim Wilson participated in as well. Most recently Jim has donated to the Orillia Opera House and received the Business Achievement award for Marketing and Promotions.
